Grapnel Adapter Use: To recover a drowning victim, ascertain water depth at point of entry. With sufficient length of extensions attached, prod bottom with grapnel. Begin search by determining geographic features of bottom and feel for victims body.
P20 Knife tethered to case. Orange handled, sheep-foot serrated blade. Blade tethered ball facilitates one-hand opening.
I'm a firm believer in the saying "One hand for rescue, one hand for me." During
water rescue ops, one should keep a knife immediately accessible. Consider your
knife as a self-rescue tool. Cutting free of entanglement may be your only means of
emergency escape.
PS: I have been informed of at least one occasion where a rescuer's life was saved
by this style of one-hand-opening knife."
