The MSD560 is a universally sized flexible, light weight dry suit developed for use in the extreme environments faced by surface rescue swimmers. A heavy duty butyl, nylon tri-laminate suit, the MSD560 offers a full range of motion to accommodate ease in swimming and high performance duties including climbing, lifting, rescue, and salvage operations.

Padded reinforcements protect areas susceptible to excess wear and pressure during rescue missions and an exhaust valve built into the forearm of the suit allows the quick evacuation of trapped air.

Adjustable internal suspenders accommodate a range of sizes.
The MSD560 is compatible with aircrew duties in most rotary wing aircraft and has been designed to integrate with all rescue and life support equipment currently in use by military aviation rescue swimmers.

The MSD575 WR Water Rescue Drysuit is a traditional fitting, durable dry suit designed for rescuers who face the challenge of moving water and urban flooding. The suit combines the robustness of Mustang’s Tactical Operations Dry Suit, with the high visibility and padding needed in a swift water or urban search and rescue (USAR) environment. The breathable GORE-TEX is supplemented with Kevlar patches on hip, knees, arms and cuffs to provide extreme abrasion and puncture resistance against rocks and debris.

The suit’s internal suspender system provides an almost “custom fit” over the range of sizes, ensuring maximum mobility. Mustang’s patented Closed Comfort System (CCS™) can be worn loose to provide comfort out of the water and can quickly be drawn tight to keep the water out. The adjustable seal also provides increased durability compared to traditional latex seals. The diagonal waterproof entry zipper and horizontal waterproof relief zipper ensure easy entry and crew comfort during extended operations.

Thermal performance of Mustang drysuits are dependent on the type of undergarment worn.

The MSD577 SR Water Rescue Drysuit combines the comfort needed for constant wear with the close fit essential for mobility during aggressive swimming. The suit also has the durability needed in swift water and urban search and rescue (USAR) missions.

NOTE: The close fit inherent with this design does not fit all body types ideally.  Some people in the larger size ranges (XL, XXL, XXXL) sometimes find that one size larger fits them a little better, especially when they are at the larger threshold of a given size.  Please consult the MSD577 specific sizing chart.

This lightweight waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® suit features stretch panels around the waist and on each shoulder to increase mobility without adding excess fabric. A pick resistant stretch pant overlay reduces bulk in the legs; abrasion resistant patches protect the waist, knees, arms and cuffs. A removable, tailbone protector and cushioned elbows and knees offer added protection.

During extended missions, the top stow feature allows for ½ doffing without fear of damaging the suit and Mustang’s patented Closed Comfort System (CCS™) adjustable neck seal can be worn loose to provide comfort out of the water and can quickly be drawn tight to keep the water out.

In case of a rescue situation where you need quick access to a knife, this knife is easy to pull from the sheath and comfortable to grip in a wet & cold environment. This mid-sized knife is a favorite among commercial river guides. Molded friction release sheaths clip to a belt or the lash tab on your PFD. The River Runner™ incorporates a half smooth, half serrated blade and a pointy tip for puncturing a broached boat.
